http://www.ChamberEast.com/MidvalleyChambers/RedRockHotClub-Midvale-1-19-07.pdf - The Red Rock Hot Club (RRHC) recreates the sounds of Paris in the
1930's and 40's. In 1934, guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist
Stephane Grappelli created a group that would be Europe's largest
contribution to a new American art form called Jazz. The group was
called "The Quintet of the Hot Club of France"; their Euro-Classical
musical backgrounds blended uniquely with Jazz to create their own
style. The style and genre has taken on several names... Jazz Manouche,
Gadjo Swing, Jazz Hot, Hot Swing or my favorite... "Gypsy Jazz". The
RRHC is Utah's Premier Gypsy Jazz Project. They play authentic,
acoustic, stringed instruments, which are the key to making this music
sound right. Gypsy Jazz has a unique history, sound, and motion. The most notable
difference is the rhythm guitar replaces the drummer, and drives the
music. Embodying a wide range of musical roots, the music includes
everything from traditional gypsy music with Hungarian, and Russian
roots, to American Jazz standards played "Gypsy Jazz" style. RRHC consists of five musicians: Rich Daigle - guitar, Page Mcginnis -
guitar, Dr. Charlie Ayers - guitar, Doug Wright - bass, and Stuart
Maxfield - violin.

relationships with your representatives, how to ask for what you want,
and how to get it! 12:00 - Noon West Capitol Building, lobby Press Conference Members of the press will convene to hear about the UBGH’s legislative

Lake City's goal of facilitating the provision of affordable housing in
the Downtown area. It also furthers the Salt Lake City’s energy
conservation goals by incorporating solar panels as a source of energy
in order to conserve energy and reduce tenant utilities by approximately
35%. In addition, set-aside units include five units for persons with
HIV/AIDS, five units for developmentally disabled persons, and two units
for persons transitioning out of homelessness. Truly, they are thinking
about the triple-bottom-line of economic, social, and environmental
sustainability.
